Hello. I'm a HUGE Pixar fan. So here's some fan art. I used the first (and only so far) "Cars" trailer as reference.
http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/cars/
I'm not a big fan of making models of characters that are already in 3D, so feeling a bit uneasy about posting this. But I just had to make this one. Anyways, let me know what you think.

This is a Jedi Star Fighter from Ep3. I modeled this for tv commercial of Star Wars controller from Jakks Pacific. Which is plug'n'play. At the time I had limited reference so I didn't quite know what the back and bottom looks like. Only cockpit and r2d2 are subdivided, the rest are kind of low poly.

Evil Star Fighter (sw Ep3)

Hello :-)
This is an evil star fighter from episode 3. I modeled this for a TV ad of a plug-n-play SW controller from Jakks Pacific. Same ad as in this thread http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=238079
At the time, I only had front view of the ship as reference. So this is pretty inacurate to what you'll see in the movie. But this did the trick for motion blurred rendering. btw. I only did modeling and texturing on those joystick/controller spots.
If you'd like to see some of the controller and joysticks I modeled for the tv commercials, click here http://www.3dluvr.com/clisk3d/3d_004.html :-)

Thees monsters were designed and modelled for Sheetz billboard in Harrisburg, PA. I worked at www.bluedesign.tv on this job. It was a pretty rushed job but I still like how it came out. HulkFish (green monster) was also added in the same way the cyclops was done on the billboard. I was only responsible for the monsters. Rick Malwitz from bluedesign.tv did the final composting

Thees also won Philly Ad Club 2006 Addy award (thats a philadelphia ad agency award show)
